Teachers

Taylor Mali: What Teachers Make
This clip is hillarious and true!
He makes an excellent point and I am so PROUD to be a teacher.
Plus, I get to teach in Korea, how awesome is that?

My favorite part of this?
"Why won't I let you go to the bathroom?  Because you're bored and don't really have to go to bathroom...DO YOU?"

Seoul Zoo

It was epic, it was legendary, it was THE ZOO! Why have this sindig at the zoo? Our friends Ben and Cindy were leaving Korea. Is there any other way to have an epic farewell party? I think not.

Yeah, there was a dolphin show. Oh yes, we made eye contact with one of the dolphin men!

This is everyone and my lunch--meat on a stick and a pineapple smoothie! Yum!
Do they have rabies in Korea?. . .

I had to do it. . .plus the fact that when we walked by the corn, half of the group, "Amber do you feel like you're at home?" Oh yes, I love my friends.

Jeju Vaction Highlights

My friend Erin and I decided to head to Jeju for 4 days.

These are the dudes that we met at the beach! This black sand beach was gorgeous!!

We also went to Loveland. This was the tamest part of the park. . .

The last day we went to the falls, which we went to last year, still gorgeous!

Our awesome front desk man at The Little France Hotel. He helped us out on alot of trips out and about in Jeju. We heart him!

This beach was one of my favs! It's about an hour from Jeju airport and the last one that we went to. With the sun shining on it, it was so clear and beautiful!

Our new boyfriends we met at the airport. I offered them some of my American gum and pictures and convo insued. Oh Korea!

Trick Art Museum!

Jeju Island is known for these statues.
A new friend we made at the bus stop, Minsok. She showed us where to go and then had dinner with us too! She was great and SO sweet. Also, she did not speak a word of Korean...it made for an interesting trip!

2 Months

Only 2 more months in the land of Korea...
Then back to good ol' Nebraska for some quality bonding time and traveling the states, I hope! I'm excited to go back to visit but I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing when I get there. Procrastination is not my friend...

Dr. Fish

Last week on the 5th, I decided I was sick of being in my little apartment, so I head down to Gangnam with my friend Robyn to go to Dr. Fish.
After about a half hour of trying to find Dr. Fish, which is a little cafe above Dunkin Doughnuts, we ordered a smoothie and paid 1,000won or about 80 cents or so to have the dead skin eaten off of our feet by fish.

Why are we making these faces? It tickled SO bad! Plus, the fish were HUGE. I had heard they are usually smaller in size, not these. It was definately an experiance. . .I'll probably go back before I leave.

My friend Ange sent me this link about Dr. Fish: http://www.garrarufa.com/chin-chin-fish/

Korean Movie Experiance

I finally after living here for nearly 2 years saw a Korean movie in theaters! Don't judge me... I may not know Korean very well, but I did understand MOST of the movie. The movie's name is: Death Bell 2 (고사 2번)
I did not see the first Death Bell but that did not seem to matter. Basically, a large group of high schoolers have a study camp for the weekend at the school, they get locked in the school at night and then thats when something ATTACKS!

Needless to say, I was basically huddled next to my buddy, Blu the whole time. Good thing he doesn't scare easily!

Probably the hardest part to watch was when the killer had a motorcycle with spikes on the front and just kept running over one of the boys. It was awful! And it just happened over and over and over and over again!

We also went and saw the new Shrek movie in 3D. I know we look pretty much awesome in this picture. Why do I have the cheesiest grin ever?
